What is happening?

Three Gates Lane (D5528) Haslemere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above- mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length Three Gates Lane (D5528) Haslemere between the boundaries of the property known as “Roundabouts”. Alternative Route – Three Gates Lane, Holdfast Lane, B2131 (Petworth Road), A286 (High Street) and Three Gates Lane, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Thames Water to facilitate valve disconnection works and all associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 28 April 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Runwick Lane (C123) Runwick
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above- mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Runwick Lane (C123) Runwick which extends from the southwestern property boundary line of “Runwick House” to its junction with Clarks Hill (C123).
Alternative Route – Runwick Lane (C123), Clarks Hill (C123), Dippenhall Road (C123), Crondall Lane (C120), West Street (B3228) AND Alton Road (A31) or the same route in reverse.
This Order is required to allow BT Openreach to carry out telecom works, which is anticipated to be completed within 1 day, between 9:30am and 3:30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 21 April 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route.
Scotland Lane (D5524) and Tennysons Lane (D5527) Haslemere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 02 April 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Scotland Lane (D5524) Haslemere as extends from its junction with (D5527) Tennysons Lane and for a distance of 50 metres in a westerly direction; (b) Tennysons Lane (D5527) Haslemere as extends from its junction with (D5524) Scotland Lane and for a distance of 15 metres in a southerly direction. Alternative Route: (1) Scotland Lane, Haste Hill, The Common, and Blackdown Lane, or this route in reverse; (2) Tennysons Lane, Jays Lane, Jobsons Lane, (B2131) Petworth Road, and Blackdown Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate electrical utility works for, or on behalf of Connect It Utilities Service Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 11 days, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 14 April 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other traffic, including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route.
D103 Sheephatch Lane, Tilford
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to:- (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D103 Sheephatch Lane, Tilford; and (b) suspend “The Surrey County Council D103 Sheephatch Lane Tilford (Weight Restriction) Order 1988” in its entirety. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate carriageway patching and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 21 April 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure and the suspension of the Order will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. Alternative Route – D104 Tilford Street, B3001 Farnham Road, B3001 Waverley Lane, D5300 Monks Walk and C28 Tilford Road.
