What is happening?

STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND TEMPORARY 7.5T WEIGHT LIMIT SUSPENSION

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to:

Temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding along Wolverhampton Rd, Codsall and temporarily suspend 7.5t weight limit on Birches Bridge, Codsall. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=142768442. The Order will come into operation on 21/4/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 27/4/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the structural maintenance works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHBITION OF TRAFFIC AND TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 1/4/25 made an Order the effect of which is to:

Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along High St, Cheslyn Hay and to temporarily suspend the One-Way Order on High St in Cheslyn Hay for its entirety. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=141887839. The Order will come into operation on 7/4/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will complete the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the maintenance cover repair works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 1/4/25 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding along:

Acton Hill Rd, Acton Trussell. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=142054117. The Order will come into operation on 10/4/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 11/4/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the water connection works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Straight Mile, Calf Heath. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=141904334. The Order will come into operation on 8/4/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 9/4/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the bridge inspection works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Melrose Drive, Perton. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=141964685. The Order will come into operation on 7/4/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 9/4/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the duct installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Hickling Rd, Cannock. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=142138077. The Order will come into operation on 21/4/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 22/4/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the repair/replacement of manhole frame and cover, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Six Ashes Rd, Six Ashes. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=142056916. The Order will come into operation on 24/4/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 24/4/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole testing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
