ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(STAMFORD ROAD, KETTERING)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Stamford Road, Kettering as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Stamford Road, Kettering from the junction with Kathleen Drive to the junction with Elizabeth Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during Section 278 works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 21st April 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. 

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 17 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Kathleen Drive, Judith Road and Elizabeth Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(GRENDON ROAD, EARLS BARTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Grendon Road, Earls Barton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Grendon Road, Earls Barton – structure 3122 – White Mills, structure located adjacent to the canal/White Mills Marina.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during survey and vegetation clearance.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 28th April 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. 

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 

(HARBOROUGH ROAD & ROTHWELL ROAD, DESBOROUGH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of Harborough Road and Rothwell Road, Desborough as set out below.

LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of Harborough Road and Rothwell Road, Desborough from B576 between Prince Rupert Avenue crossing and Marlow House.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during ironwork replacement and adjustment works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 29th April 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. 

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for up to two days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Desborough Road, A6 and Harrington Road.

(ROCK HILL & RUSHTON ROAD, ROTHWELL)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of Rock Hill and Rushton Road, Rothwell as set out below.

LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of Rock Hill and Rushton Road, Rothwell from Rock Hill, junction with Glendon Road to Rushton Road outside Woodfield Farm.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during ironwork replacement works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 1st May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(ASHLEY ROAD, STOKE ALBANY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Ashley Road, Stoke Albany as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Ashley Road, Stoke Albany from Stoke Farm to layby.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pole replacement works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 1st May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. 

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to one day.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(STOKE ROAD, DESBOROUGH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Stoke Road, Desborough as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Stoke Road, Desborough from Back Lane all the way down to the roundabout.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during continued construction of the new footway and associated carriageway works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 21st April 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. 

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 39 days.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Lewis Road, Kettering as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Lewis Road, Kettering from outside no’s 18/20 to numbers 6/8.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pole replacement works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 7th April 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Paddock Lane, Mears Ashby as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Paddock Lane, Mears Ashby from outside no.5.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during stop tap replacement works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 7th April 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Orlingbury Road, Earls Barton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Orlingbury Road, Earls Barton from the junction of The Green to Isham Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pole replacement works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 11th April 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. 

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 day.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Harold Road, Bozeat as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Harold Road, Bozeat – adjacent to Bozeat Community School.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during installation of VAS signs including ducting and trenching.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th April 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of A605 Eastern Bypass, Thrapston as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of A605 Eastern Bypass, Thrapston – between A45/A14 interchange and Oundle Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 17th April 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. 

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 6 nights.
