Charlton Road, Andover - Temporary Footpath Closures due to Construction Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE – CHARLTON ROAD FOOTPATHS, ANDOVER, TEST VALLEY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
FOOTPATH TO BE CLOSED: that part of Charlton Road Footpaths between its junction with A3057 Western Avenue and its junction with Charlton Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A3057 Footpath, Charlton Road Footpath
DURATION OF ORDER: from 31st March 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 9 weeks, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The footpath closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Cain Bio-Engineering to carry out construction works in and around Folly Park. If there are any queries or enquiries regarding this Order please contact: info@cainbioengineering.co.uk
Cain Bio-Engineering will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
