(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
PINFOLD STREET AND STATION ROAD, EASTRINGTON AND
STATION ROAD, NEWLAND
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along Pinfold Street, Eastrington, Station Road, Eastrington and
Station Road, Newland commencing:
Monday 14 April 2025 until Friday 18 April 2025.
The reason for the closure is to enable culvert cleaning works, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. It is anticipated that the works will be completed within five days. The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is via Main Road, Sandholme Road, Old Trough Lane and Mill Lane.
The roads will be closed to all through traffic but remain open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular access to properties directly affected by the closure and for emergency services.
The Order will commence 14 April 2025 and continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
