Notice of Highway Improvement, Reconstruction & Resurfacing
Notice is hereby given that Torbay Council intends to carry out substantial roadworks. Work is expected to affect the carriageway and will be commencing May 2025 to August 2025.
The street/roads in which these works will take place are:
TORQUAY AREA
Newton Road Torquay (Junction Cadewell lane)
PAIGNTON AREA
Aspen Way Paignton St Mawes Drive Camborne Drive Hayle Avenue
The works notified will include Reconstructing of the carriageway and Improvement Schemes. Subject to the exemptions of the Act and Regulations under it. No street works may be executed for a period of twelve months to sixty months from completion of works described above without the consent of the said Highway Authority, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
