Park Royal Road - Temporary Traffic Order For Planned Footway Widening & Civil Works
What is happening?
LONDON BOROUGH OF EALING
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER FOR PLANNED FOOTWAY WIDENING & CIVIL WORKS PARK ROYAL ROAD.
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Ealing Council under, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, made a temporary Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit all vehicles from proceeding in the southbound section of PARK ROYAL ROAD between its junctions with Gorst Road and Victoria Road, when prescribed traffic signs are being displayed.
2. The Order will come into effect at 0001 hours on Saturday, 12 APRIL 2025, and is required to facilitate planned footway widening & civil works to be undertaken safely on Park Royal Road.
3. The maximum duration of the Order will be 18 months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by the end of June 2025.
4. Diversions for southbound vehicles would be Gorst Road, Chase Road, Victoria Road.
5. Exemptions will be provided for: -
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order.
