Carter Lane East - Temporary Road Closure

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
CARTER LANE EAST, SOUTH NORMANTON

WHEN: 07 April to 22 April 2025.
WHERE: Carter Lane East, South Normanton from its Jct. with the B6406 Interchange for a distance of 100m in a westerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate cabling works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6406, A38, M1 J29 Interchange, B6019, Market Street, Market Place, High Street, Church Street, Main Street, Water Lane, Ball Hill, Carter Lane East (to point of closure) and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
