Radipole Road And Whittingstall Road - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic For Telecoms Works

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
(RADIPOLE ROAD AND WHITTINGSTALL ROAD)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

1. The Council of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate telecoms works in the above-named location; it made an Order the effect of which will temporarily prohibit traffic and introduce “at any time” waiting restrictions in a section of the above-named road.

2. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed to enter Radipole Road from the junction with Fulham Road to a point 4 Meters northwest of that junction.

3. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed to enter Whittingstall Road from the junction with Fulham Road to a point 4 Meters southeast of that junction.

4. An alternative route for traffic in article 2 shall be provided via Lillyville Road, Bishops Road and Chesilton Road.

5. An alternative route for traffic in article 3 shall be provided via St Maur Road and Mimosa Street.

6. Exemptions will be provided in the Order to permit reasonable access to premises, so far as it is practical without interference with the execution of the said work and for works vehicles, any vehicle being used in connection with police, fire or ambulance purposes and anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.

7. The Order would come into operation on the 28th April 2025 and would be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

8. Works would be expected to commence on Monday 28th April 2025 and last until the 30th April 2025. The dates specified are for guidance and informative purposes only and works may extend outside these dates.
