Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14 The County Of Devon (Temporary Restriction)
(Road From Pennymoor To Two Post Cross, Road From Pennymoor Past Higher Yeadbury, Road Heading North From Taylors Cross Past Tithing House Farm, Pennymoor & Cheriton Fitzpaine) Order 2025 Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic & Parking
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 7/4/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 17/4/25.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: Road From Pennymoor To Two Post Cross, Road From Pennymoor Past Higher Yeadbury, Road Heading North From Taylors Cross Past Tithing House Farm, Pennymoor & Cheriton Fitzpaine.
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - Section 1: Two Post Cross, B3137, Pages Cross, West Ruckham Farm, Pennymoor Cross, &Vice Versa. Section 2: Pennymoor Cross, Way Village, Heath Cross, Marsh Hill, Buildings Cross, Taylors Cross, & Vice Versa.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: Devon Highways - Patching (Surface Dressing).

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: Replace Old Metallic Gas Mains With New Plastic Mains & Renew/Transfer Service Pipes To Adjacent Premises. Access Will Be Maintained Where Possible.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: Phase 1 Of Gas Mains Replacement Works. Includes Parking Prohibition Along Exeter Hill.
PHASES 1, 2 & 3 WILL NEVER HAVE THEIR ROAD CLOSURES IN PLACE AT THE SAME TIME.
