Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Area 1 Carriageway R&R Tender 2025, Order 2025, No. 79
We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Site 1 – U438, Bands Lane, Gayle (From its junction with Mossy Lane, westwards to the end of the county road), Site 2 – U224, Kettwell Lane, Bainbridge (From its junction with the C34 Askrigg to Hardraw road, southwards to the end of the county road), Site 4 – A684, Wensley to Leyburn, Wensley (From the speed limit signs east of Wensley, westwards to a point approximately 100 metres west of the junction with the C35 Gale Bank Road to Melsonby), Site 5 – U1309, New Road, Richmond (From its junction with the Market Place in Richmond, southwards to its junction with the C129 (The Green, in Richmond) & Site 6 – A6136, Station Road and Rimington Avenue, Richmond (From its junction with Frenchgate in Richmond, south eastwards to its junction with Theakston Lane), for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 01/04/25 & 31/10/25, due to carriageway patching works. However, the max duration of this Order is until 30/09/26. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Old Main Road, Little Crakehall for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 31/03/25 & 11/04/25, due to Northern Powergrid cable overlay works. However, the max duration of this Order is until 30/06/25. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Cyclists & Horse Traffic, Public Bridleway 20.57/5/2 Richmond, Order 2025 No. 89
We have made this Order to prohibit any pedestrian, cyclist or person riding or leading a horse from using the Public Bridleway 20.57/5/2 in the Parish of Richmond, between grid reference NZ12910168 & NZ14940144 for a temporary period of 6 months (subject to access to premises) between 01/04/25 & 30/09/25, due resurfacing works in Whitcliffe Woods. The closure period will apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs and a local alternative route for Public Footpath uses only, will also be signed on site where appropriate.
