Redcar And Cleveland - Temporary Prohibition Of Driving For National Road Race Championships
What is happening?
REDCAR AND CLEVELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL
(NATIONAL ROAD RACE CHAMPIONSHIPS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025
Not less than 7 days herefrom the Council intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding or parking or waiting (including for loading and unloading in the lengths of road specified in the Schedule and the junctions thereon.
Diversion routes will be in place prior to the event.
Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
The Order will come into operation on 13.4.25 for the purpose of facilitating the holding of a relevant event.
The restrictions will only apply at such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
