(A451 Dunley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of A451 Dunley from its junction with U64217 Dark Ln to its junction with junction with C2276 Dunley.
Reason: Electricity cable replacement by National Grid.
No access for emergency services. Must follow diversion route.
Alternative route: Diversion (Clockwise) – A451 Dunley (part), A451 Dunley Rd, A451 Bridge St, A451 High St, A451 Mitton St, A451 Vale Rd, A451 Gilgal, A4025 Worcester Rd, A4025 Stourport Rd, A449 Sytchampton to Mitre Oak, A449 Main Rd, A4133 Holt Heath, B4197 Great Witley.
Diversion (Anticlockwise) – A4133 Holt Heath, A449 Main Rd, A449 Sytchampton to Mitre Oak, A4025 Stourport Rd, A4025 Worcester Rd, A451 Mitton St, A451 Lion Hill, A451 York St, A451 Bridge St, A451 Dunley Rd, A451 Dunley (part).
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 4 days (24hrs).

(U63120 Geraldine Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U63120 Geraldine Rd from its junction with B4208 Poolbrook Rd to its junction with B4211 Barnards Green Rd.
Reason: Carriageway Patching by WCC.
Alternative route: B4208 Poolbrook Rd, B4211 Barnards Green Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 2 days between 21 April 2025 and 2 May 2025.
(A449 Worcester Road, Newland) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of A449 Worcester Road from its junction with B4208 Townsend Way to its junction with U6201 Monksfield Lane.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Alternative route: A449 Worcester Rd (part), A449 Malvern Rd, A449 The Village, A4440 Temeside Way, A38 Worcester Rd, A38 Main Rd, A38 Clifton, A38 Severn Stoke Bank, A38 Worcester Rd, A4104 Holly Green, A4104 East Waterside to Upton, B4211 Hanley Rd, B4209 Hanley Castle to Hanley Swan, B4209 Hanley Rd, A449 Worcester Rd (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 2 nights (20:00–05:00) between 21 April 2025 and 2 May 2025.
(U61403 Hollybush) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U61403 Hollybush from its junction with U61403 The Roughs to its junction with U61409 New Road.
Reason: Installation of boundary box and meter by Severn Trent Water.
Alternative route: U61403 Hollybush (part), A438 Hollybush, B4208 Coombe Green, B4208 Castleton, B4208 Gloucester Rd, A4104 Marlbank Rd, A4104 Little Malvern and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 2 days.
Commencing: 22 April 2025.
(Link Footpath F60147 Whitbourne End, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F60147 Whitbourne End from its junction with U63312 Whitborn End for a distance of 32 metres in a Westerly direction until the Electricity Sub Station.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Alternative route: U63312 Whitborn End, U63311 Whitborn Close, Link Footpath F60148 Whitbourne Close (no. 17), B4211 Guarlford Road, U63307 Crown Lea Avenue and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months.
Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs).
Commencing: 31 March 2025.
(A449 Wells Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of A449 Wells Rd from its junction with A4104 Little Malvern to its junction with B4232 Jubilee Dr to Malvern Hills Boundary.
Reason: Mains diversionary works by Cadent Gas.
Alternative route: Into Herefordshire, A438 Hollybush, B4208 Coombe Green, B4208 Castlemorton, B4208 Gloucester Rd, A4104 Marlbank Rd, A4104 Little Malvern and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 32 days (24hrs).
Commencing: 1 April 2025.
(U63207 Lansdowne Crescent, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of U63207 Lansdowne Crescent from its junction with B4211 Barnard’s Green Road for a distance of 50 metres in a north easterly direction.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Alternative route: B4211 Barnard’s Green Road, C2260 Madresfield Road, U63207 Lansdowne Crescent (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs).
Commencing: 2 April 2025.
EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(Waterside (East of High Street) Upton upon Severn) (Prohibition of Driving) (Except for Access) Order 2025
On 13 March 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order giving permanent effect to an Experimental Order made on 23 May 2024 which will impose Prohibition of Driving at any time on the following length of road in Upton upon Severn:
Waterside, (East of High Street) from its junction with High Street, eastwards for a distance of 65 metres.
The Order will come into operation on 3 April 2025.

The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
