Dartford, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices
What is happening?
Highways
Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
DARTFORD AREA
Craylands Lane, Swanscombe, DA10 0FD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of the replacement of railway security fencing, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Craylands Lane, Swanscombe, on or after 13th April 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the railway bridge.
The alternative route is via Craylands Lane, A226 London Road, B259 High Street, Milton Road and vice versa.
Hallford Way, Dartford, DA1 3AF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of drainage repair works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hallford Way, Dartford, on or after 7th April 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between numbers 19 and No 27.
The alternative route is via Lawrence Hill Road, A226 Dartford Road/West Hill, King Edward Avenue, Hallford Way and vice versa.
Instone Road & Spring Vale, Dartford, DA1 2LJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of resurfacing works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Instone Road and Spring Vale, Dartford, on or after 27th April 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
Instone Road will be closed at the entrance to Lidl between 18:00hrs and 05:00hrs from 27th April 2025 to 28th April 2025.
Spring Vale will be closed at the rear of Lidl between 08:30hrs and 17:00hrs from 23rd April 2025 to 25th April 2025.
There are no alternative routes but access will be maintained when safe to do so.
Priory Road South, Dartford, DA1 2TQ (PROHIBITION OF SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of restoration works to a private boundary wall, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit southbound traffic on part of Priory Road South, Dartford, on or after 7th April 2025 until 31st May 2025 or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed southbound between A2026 Victoria Road and number 20.
The alternative route is via A2026 Victoria Road/Hythe Street, A226 Westgate Road, Highfield Road West Hill, Priory Hill, Priory Road.
Shellbank Lane, Darenth, DA2 8DT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of drainage maintenance works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Shellbank Lane, Darenth, on or after 24th April 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Manor Farm.
The alternative route is via B255 High Street/Southfleet Road, B262 Sandbanks Hill, B260 Green Street Green Road and vice versa.
Sycamore Road, Dartford, DA1 2QN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of new gas service connections, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Sycamore Road, Dartford, on or after 7th April 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside No. 20A.
The alternative route is via Sycamore Road, Willow Road, Larch Road, Chestnut Road, Highfield Road, Olive Road and vice versa.
