Dudley - Various Road Traffic & Parking Restrictions

DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to
make the following Orders,

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Prohibition of Right Turn
and Temporary Suspension of Cycle Lanes) (Tipton Road, Dudley) Order 2025
the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Tipton Road,
Dudley, from turning right into Birmingham New Road, for the purpose of installation
of a HV cable being carried out on or near the affected road. The southbound cycle
lane along Tipton Road, Dudley, from the junction of Birmingham New Road to
outside no.18 Tipton Road, will be suspended for the duration of the restriction. The
order will come into operation on 14/4/2025 and will remain in force until 21/04/2025
or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of
the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Dudley Road, Sedgley Road
West, Sedgley Road, and Birmingham New Road.

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Churchfield
Street, Dudley) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle
proceeding on Churchfield Street, Dudley, for the purpose of new build works being
carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on
14/4/25 and will remain in force until 25/4/25 or until the works are completed,
whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will
be diverted via: Brook Street, Vicar Street, Abberley Street, and vice versa.

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Suspension of On Street
Parking Spaces) (Pensnett Road, Dudley) Order 2025 the effect of which is to
temporarily suspend the on street parking spaces, created by The Borough Council
of Dudley (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places,
Disabled Residents Parking Places and No Stopping on School Entrance Markings)
(Consolidation 2.0) Order 2021 on Pensnett Road, Dudley (from outside Ab Fab 2 to
the new development only), for the purpose of the reconnection of an electricity
supply being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into
operation on 14/4/25 and will remain in force until 25/4/25 or until the works are
completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18
months.

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Oak Road,
Dudley) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle
proceeding on Oak Road, Dudley, for the purpose of gas mains replacement being
carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on
14/4/25 and will remain in force until 21/4/25 or until the works are completed,
whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will
be diverted via: Forest Road, Somery Road, Chestnut Avenue and vice versa.


Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Manor Lane,
Halesowen) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle
proceeding on Manor Lane, Halesowen, for the purpose of gas main works being
carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on
15/4/25 and will remain in force until 29/4/25 or until the works are completed,
whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will
be diverted via: Manor Way, Quinton Interchange Island, Manor Way, Grange Road,
Bromsgrove Road, Mucklow Hill, and Kent Road.

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Fountain Lane,
Coseley) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle
proceeding on Fountain Lane, Coseley, for the purpose of gas mains replacement
being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on
14/4/25 and will remain in force until 29/4/25 or until the works are completed,
whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will
be diverted via: Fountain Lane, Bradleys Lane, Summer Hill Road, Gough Road,
Green Street, Central Drive, and vice versa.

Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do
