Bailey Grove Road, Eastwood - Temporary Prohibition of Driving For Sewer Connection Works

(Bailey Grove Road, Eastwood) (Temporary Prohibition Of Driving) Order 2025 (BX25-050)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Eastwood in the Borough of Broxtowe.

The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road

a. Bailey Grove Road, Eastwood - from a point 100 metres north west of its junction with Great Northern Road for a distance of 40 metres in a south easterly direction

2. Vehicles are prohibited from Waiting, Loading and Unloading (both sides) (at all times) in the following length of road

a. Bailey Grove Road, Eastwood - from a point 100 metres north west of its junction with Great Northern Road for a distance of 40 metres in a south easterly direction

3. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required. 

4. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place. 

IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows: From 09:00 hours Tuesday 1st April 2025 Until 16:00 hours Tuesday 15th April 2025 inclusive.

AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be:

a. No alternative route available

The Order will come into force on 1st April 2025 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. 

The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).

The prohibition is required to enable Future Housing Group to carry out sewer connection works.
