What is happening?

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Bold Ln, Burtonwood (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2025

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Bold Ln from its jct. to its jct. with Broad Ln. The Order will be effective from 22nd April 2025. The closure is for a period of 1 day. The alternative route will be via Back Ln, Phipps Ln, Broad Ln & vice versa. The closure is required to allow T-Mobile to carry out maintenance works to a telecom mast.

Highfield Ave & Willow Ln, Appleton (Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) Temporary Order 2025

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway as follows: Highfield Ave for its entire length; Willow Ln for its entire length. The Order will be effective from 19th May 2025. The restrictions are for a period of 6 weeks, between 8:30am to 5:30pm. The alternative route for Willow Ln will be via Highfield Ave & vice versa. The restrictions are required for footway surfacing.

Mason Ave, Poulton with Fearnhead (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2025

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Mason Ave from its jct. with Padgate Ln to its entire length. The Order will be effective from 20th April 2025. The closure is for a period of 1 day, between 9:30am & 3:30pm and is required to allow Openreach to carry out pole replacement work.

Pinewood Rd, Burtonwood (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2025

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Pinewood Rd from its jct. with Melrose Ave to its jct. with Anfield Dr. The Order will be effective from 28th April 2025. The closure is for a period of 2 weeks. The alternative route will be via Melrose Ave, Cambourne Rd, Fir Tree Ln & vice versa. The closure is required to allow United Utilities to carry out works.

School Rd (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce a prohibition of driving on School Rd from its jct. with Church Rd to its jct. with Primrose Hill. The Order will be effective from 7th April 2025. The closure is for a period of 18 weeks. The alternative route will be via Church Rd, Arley Rd, Arley Ln, Arley Hall Access Rd, Arley Green Rd, Sandy Ln & vice versa. The closure is required to allow a new sewer connection to be installed.

The temporary restrictions will be in place as & when the signs are in place on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.

The Borough of Warrington (Off-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation (Amendment No. 1) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order, which will come into force on 1st May 2024, will be to vary the Borough of Warrington (Off-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation Order 2024, in respect of charges and hours of operation in car parks listed in Schedules 1 & 2 to this notice. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at Contact Warrington, 26-30 Horsemarket Street, Warrington, WA1 1XL between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m., Monday to Friday. If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection, in writing to TroConsultations@warrington.gov.uk or the address below by 17th April 2025 quoting Ref: 12964940.

All representations must include the name & address of the person making it and could become available for public inspection.
