(Footpath 13, Elsenham)
(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the above Order made by Essex County Council, under S14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has been continued in force with the consent of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until the 01 October 2025
Effect of the Order: To temporarily close Footpath 13, Elsenham, in the District of Uttlesford from its junction with Hall Road, southwest for approximately 280 metres to its junction with Footpath 17. The closure came into effect on the 02 October 2024 and is required for the safety of the public and work force while Vistry Homes new development is built, the footpath runs through the centre of the site.
The alternative route is via Hall Road, and Footpath 17, and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 02 October 2024 and may continue in force for six months, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. This Order may be extended by the Secretary of State if a further extension is required.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bumpstead Road, Hempstead in the District of Uttlesford from a point approximately 380m north east of its junction with Witchtree Lane for a distance of approximately 60m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd April 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WG3HH58YSB - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Bumpstead Road, Hempstead Road, Water Lane, North Street, Haverhill Road, Chapel Street, Finchingfield Road, Cornish Hall End, Little London Hill, Howe Street, Duck End, The Causeway, The Green, Brent Hall Road, Hawkins Hill, Finchingfield Road, High Street, Moor End Road, Anso Road, High Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 3rd April 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Further Ford End Road, Clavering in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 350m south west of its junction with Langley Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd April 2025 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WG2G8C3F - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Further Ford End Road, Langley Road, Mills Road, Plantation Hill, Lower Road, High Street, Middle Street, Pelham Road, Pump Hill, Classified Road C10 North From B1038 To Mill Lane, Langley Lane, Road East From Langley Lane Past Meesden Bury and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 3rd April 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(High Lane, Stansted)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of High Lane, Stansted in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Brewery Lane for a distance of approximately 15m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd April 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410262405 -Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stop tap and boundary box works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via High Lane, Cambridge Road, Chapel Hill, Lower Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 3rd April 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Little London Lane, Berden in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 370m south west of its junction with Sawpit Lane for a distance of approximately 100m in south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd April 2025 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WG2D451P - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Little London Lane, Manuden Road, Highlands Farm Road, Berden Road, Chapel Hill, The Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 3rd April 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Radwinter Road, Saffron Walden in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Elizabeth Way to its junction with Hollyhock Road a distance of approximately 455m.
2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.
"The Essex County Council (Uttlesford Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure/clearway is scheduled to commence on 22nd April 2025 for 11 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231012633 - Highway Assurance). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/clearway is required for the safety of the public and workforce while wall installation and sewer connection works are undertaken by Highway Assurance.
An alternative route is available via Radwinter Road, Walden Road, Sampford Road, Moor End Road, High Street, Hill Road, Thaxted Road, Great Sampford Road, Walden Road, Thaxted Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 3rd April 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Stansted Road, Stansted in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 265m north east of its junction with Lower Street for a distance of approximately 490m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st April 2025 for 69 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX047STANSTEADRD - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains renewal works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via Stansted Road, Station Road, High Street, Henham Road, Mill Road, Thaxted Road, Broxted Road, Park Street, Mill End, Dunmow Road, Woodside Way, Woodside Way Roundabout, Stortford Road, Great Dunmow Junction West, Stortford Road, Dunmow Road, The Street, Stane Street, M11 J8 Roundabout, Bishops Stortford Bypass, Birchanger Roundabout, Stansted Road, Pines Hill, Silver Street, Chapel Hill, Lower Street, Grove Hill and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 3rd April 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway)
& (Grove Hill, Stansted) (Temporary Suspension of 7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction)
(No.9) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Uttlesford as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. To temporarily suspend the 7.5T weight restriction entering Grove Hill, Stansted from Lower Street as cited in the "The Essex County Council (B1051 Grove Hill, Stansted Mountfitchet) (Weight Restriction) Order 1987" for the duration of the closures only.
3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Uttlesford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 3rd April 2025, exact dates will be specified on One. Network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/ leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the roads. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Catmere End, Littlebury in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 415m south east of its junction with Batts Lane for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th April 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30081103979 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new supply works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Strethall Road, Quickset Road, Ickleton Road, High Street, Essex Hill, Royston Road, Littlebury Green Road and vice versa (with access only into Catmere End, Batts Lane).

The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th April 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410252635FR - Affinity Water).
