What is happening?

CITY OF BRISTOL (TARNOCK AVENUE, HENGROVE, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit, temporarily, any vehicle proceeding in Tarnock Avenue from making a right turn into Bamfield.

The Order was required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and becomes operative from 14th April 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Bamfield, Whitchurch Lane, Hengrove Way Roundabout, Hengrove Way, Bamfield

PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY 548 AND UNNAMED FOOTPATH BETWEEN ORANGE STREET AND PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY 548, ST. PAULS, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY FOOT PASSENGERS) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an Order the effect of which is to close, temporarily, to pedestrians the lengths of paths specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

The Order was required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the paths and becomes operative from 14th April 2025 for a maximum period of six months (subject to necessary extension).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Wilson Street, Lemon Lane, Orange Street and vice versa
