ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING, STOPPING, WAITING, LOADING & UNLOADING

ORDER 2025

RAMUZ DRIVE WESTCLIFF-ON-SEA

Notice is hereby given that Southend-on-Sea City Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

These suspensions will be undertaken in phases and clearly displayed on site.

The Effect of the order will be to prohibit any vehicle from Parking, stopping, waiting, loading & unloading on Ramuz Drive from its junction with London Road to its junction with Fairfax Drive (both sides of the road).

The suspension is scheduled to commence from 08:00am on the 31st March 2025 till 17:00pm on the 13th June 2025 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.

The Order will come into effect on 31st March 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The suspension is required for the safety of the public and workforce Cadent undertake Gas Main replacement works.

The prohibitions or restrictions will only apply during such time and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the

TRAFFIC SIGNS REGULATIONS AND GENERAL DIRECTIONS 2016

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction/prohibition imposed by this Notice may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice and removed under the provisions of the Traffic Management Act 2004
