Haigh Lane, Chadderton - Temporary One Way Traffic Order For Gas Replacement Mains Works
What is happening?

TEMPORARY ONE WAY TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
The Oldham Borough Council intend to make a Temporary Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding in a north easterly direction along that part of Haigh Lane Chadderton (north east bound carriageway) only from Middleton Road for 36 metres north easterly.
The alternative route will be via A669 Middleton Road, A663 Broadway, Burnley Lane & Chadderton Hall Road.
The Order is to be made to allow Cadent Gas replacement mains works and will be in force for 3 weeks from 5th April 2025, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
