(Horsham District) (Parking Places & Traffic Regulation)
(Consolidation No.2 Order 2006) (Chesworth Gardens & St Christophers Close Amendment) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made a permanent Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to make the following amendments to the existing parking/waiting restrictions in the Horsham Controlled Parking Zone:
(i) introduce a length of no waiting at any time restriction (double yellow lines) on the east side of Chesworth Gardens north-east of its junction with Chesworth Lane; and
(ii) extend the permit holders parking controls in the designated parking bays in St Christophers Close to apply 0900 hours to 1700 hours Monday to Saturday.
The Order will come into operation on 31 March 2025.
Paper copies of documents will not be available to view in council offices or libraries. People without access to a computer who wish to have a copy of the Order should telephone the WSCC Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive a copy by post.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or on the grounds that any requirements of the act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from 27 March 2025, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
