What is happening?

THE WEST LOTHIAN COUNCIL
CLOSURE OF ROADS & WAITING, LOADING & UNLOADING RESTRICTIONS IN WHITBURN - TTO/25/115

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council have made an Order in terms of Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to the effect that in connection with the Whitburn Flute Band Main Parade on 5 April 2025 between the hours of 0900 and 1500 the roads as noted in the Schedule below will be closed to vehicular traffic and parking restrictions will apply.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic are also noted in said Schedule.

Road Closures - East Main Street, West Main Street, Whitburn Cross, Manse Road, Union Road, Manse Avenue, Glebe Road, Griffith Drive, Murraysgate Crescent & Armadale Road

Diversion Routes - North/South via Ellen Street, Shanks Road, East Main Street, Blaeberryhill Road & Longridge Road (A706) & vice versa; East/West via Shanks Road, Ellen Street, B7066, Polkemmet Road, West Main Street & vice versa

Waiting, Loading & Unloading Restrictions - East Main Street, West Main Street, Manse Road, Union Drive, Union Road, Manse Avenue, Glebe Road, Griffith Drive & Murraysgate Crescent

Date & Times - 5 April 2025 between 0900 and 1500 hours
