The reason for the said closures is for carriageway resurfacing works.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 481011 Widden Street, from its junction with Sinope Street, to its junction with Raglan Street for a distance of approximately 82 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for water apparatus repair and maintenance works.

The reason for the said closure is for hydrant installation works by Severn Trent Water.

The said road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 16th April 2025 until 17:00hrs on 18th April 2025 only or until the works have been completed whichever is the earlier.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH ECN 73 (CHURCHDOWN PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath ECN 73 from its junction with Brookfield Road in a generally Northerly direction for approximately 640 metres to its junction with Public Footpaths ECN 72 and ECN 36 and shown on the Map by a bold solid black line marked A to B.

The said Public Footpath falls within Churchdown Parish in the Tewkesbury Borough, in the County of Gloucestershire.

The said closure is necessary to safeguard the public while repair works to the water mains are completed.

The said public footpath is expected to be closed and restricted at various times between 31st March 2025 and 30th September 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closure is in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site 2 weeks prior to any closure taking effect.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH ZGL/117 GLOUCESTER CITY

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath ZGL/117 from its junction with Kenilworth Avenue extending in a generally easterly direction for approximately 117 metres to its junction with Argyll Place.

The said closure is required to facilitate the on-going works associated with the subsidence on the said Footpath which is making it unsafe for use.

This Order came into force on the 28th April 2017 and was extended by the Secretary of State until 28th April 2021 and subsequently extended to the 28th April 2025. It has still not been possible to complete the works and so a further extension request was made to the Secretary of State and subsequently granted. The footpath will therefore remain closed until 28th April 2027 or until completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FOOTPATH ASO 7 (STOKE ORCHARD PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) parts of Public Footpath ASO 7 in the Parish of Stoke Orchard from its junction with Bozard Lane and then extending in a generally south westerly direction for approximately 90 metres.

The said Public Footpath falls within the Parish of Stoke Orchard in the Tewkesbury Borough, within the County of Gloucestershire.

The said closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst solar farm construction works are completed.

This temporary closure Order came into force on the 18th April 2024 but as works were still ongoing, the Secretary of State granted an extension of the Order until 17th April 2025, but works are still continuing and the Secretary of State has now granted a further extension until 17th August 2025 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
