Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along:

This Order will enable Kiely Bros to carry out phased prep works, surface dressing, application of Kiely Lock and associated works such as stud removal/renewal and lining works on behalf of Somerset Highways. The Order becomes effective on 27th March 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months.

The phased works are expected to commence any time after 1stApril 2025. The works are phased and theremay be a need for additional closures at a later date. Notifications will be sent for these. The phased works will be for ONE DAY within the stated period and the road will be reopened when no works are taking place.
