Wiltshire, Multiple Temporary Road Closures For Various Works

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: C 3221 (Part), Grimstead, Pitton and Farley; from its junction with C331 to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out verge overrun repairs and associated works. Alternative route via C331 – C289 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 22 April 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:30 and 17:00 until 25 April 2025. B) UC 902101 (Part), Donhead St Mary; from its junction with A30 to its junction with UC 892107 to enable Openreach to carry out pole and associated works. Alternative route via UC 902101 (unaffected length) – A30 – UC 902096 – A30 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 21 April 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 for 1 day. C) Rambridge Crescent (Part), Salisbury; from its property known as No.34 Rambridge Crescent to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out resurfacing and associated works. This Order will come into operation on 22 April 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 for 1 day. F) C293 (Part), Allington and Newton Tony; from its junction with Wyndham Road to its property known as No.61 Newton Tony to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out verge overrun works to stabilise unbound edge of carriageway and verge. No alternative route is available in this case. Works will also involve other highway remedial works where necessary. Alternative route via C293 (unaffected length) – Newton Road – A338 – Windham Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 02 April 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00 for 1 day. This Order will come into operation on 01 April 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 14:30 for 1 day. This Order will come into operation on 31 March 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:30 for 1 day. L) UC 892205 (Part), Donhead St Mary; from its property known as Mountfield to its property known as The Bungalow to enable Openreach to carry out pole and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 02 April 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:30 for 1 day. M) A360 (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with A30 in a point approximately 30m northwest of its junction with A36(T) Wilton Road to a distance of approximately 150m in a northerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out surfacing and associated works. Alternative route via A36(T) – A3094 – A360 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 08 April 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 23:59. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
