Hyde Lane - Temporary Road Closure due to Fibre Installation Works

What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Hyde Lane

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Hyde Lane - from the junction with West View, westwards for a total distance of 129 metres.

This Order will enable DMT to carry out fibre installation works on behalf of Nexifibre.

The Order becomes effective on 10th April 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 14th April 2025 and last until 17th April 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:00 for a total of 4 days.
