A180 Trunk Road - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic For Gully Emptying And Sweeping Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
THE A180 TRUNK ROAD (LAYBYS FROM BARNETBY INTERCHANGE TO GREAT COATES INTERCHANGE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited has made an Order on the A180 Trunk Road, in North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire, to enable grass cutting, sign cleaning, gully emptying and sweeping works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to start on Tuesday 1 April 2025 for 12 months and take place between 9am and 8pm and for any subsequent days until the said works have been completed.
The effect of the Order will be to close, at times during the works, the laybys adjacent to the A180 eastbound and westbound from Barnetby Interchange to Great Coates Interchange, a distance of 18990 metres.
Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibitions (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes).
The Order comes into force on 31 March 2025 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.
