NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Nidderdale Road between its junction with Derwent Road and its junction with Wingfield Road from Saturday 29th. March until Sunday 13th. April 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Derwent Road, Wensleydale Road, Wingfield Road and vice versa. The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (gas main renewal).

NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order, the road is a cul de sac. Access will be maintained for residents and emergency vehicles.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the six parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice for phased closures between Monday 31st. March and Friday 18th. April 2025. Not all roads will be closed at the same time.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on near the parts of road (Phased installation of speed reduction measures)
SCHEDULE
(i) Woodall Lane, Harthill from its junction with Pryor Mede to its junction with Dowcar Lane (the alternative route will be via Union Street, Winney Hill, Winney Lane, Harthill Lane, Rotherham Road, Mansfield Road, Woodall Road, Killamarsh Lane and vice versa).
(ii) Hard Lane from its junction with Osborne Road to its junction with Union Street (the alternative route will be via Red Hill, Manor Road, Ladyfield Road and vice versa).
(iii) Thorpe Road from its junction with Union Street to its junction with Manor Road (the alternative route will be via Red Hill, Manor Road, Ladyfield Road and vice versa).
(iv) Killamarsh Lane from its junction with Dowcarr Lane to its junction with
Woodall Road (the alternative route will be via Woodall Lane, Union Street, Winney Hill, Winney Lane, Harthill Lane, Rotherham Road, Mansfield Road, Woodall Road and vice versa).
(v) Dowcarr Lane at its junction with Woodall Lane (there is no alternative route, the road is a cul de sac).
(vi) Walseker Lane at its junction with Woodall Lane (there is no alternative route, the road is a cul de sac).

April and Sunday 20th. April 2025. Baker Street and Paddington Close will not be closed at the same time.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (Works on Rotherham Road).
SCHEDULE
(i) Baker Street from its junction with Rotherham Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a westerly direction (the alternative route will be via the opposing street and vice versa).
(ii) Paddington Close from its junction with Rotherham Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a westerly direction (the alternative route will be via the opposing street and vice versa).
