B6345 CORNHILL ROAD TWEEDMOUTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends
to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following
sections of roads in the County of Northumberland.
 B6345 Cornhill Road, East Ord from its junction with the A698 heading
in an easterly direction for a length of 524 metres.
 B6345 Cornhill Road, Tweedmouth with the U116 heading in an
easterly direction for a length of 275 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 17th April 2025 until the 17th October
2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 17th April 2025
until the 25th April 2025 between 08:00 hours and 17:00 hours during this
period; however, the order will remain in place until 17th October 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in
force being A698, A1167, B6354 and vice-versa and should the need
arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible
these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to
carry out resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other
contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this
Order.
