(CLOPHILL ROAD, MAULDEN AND THE GREEN, CLOPHILL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Clophill Road, Maulden between Bedford Road and Woodland Gardens and The Green, Clophill between Bedford Road to outside number 16.
This temporary closure is required to enable ducting works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place on 13 April 2025 between the hours of 8am and 3:30pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via The Causeway, A507, C100 and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 13 April 2025 for a period of one month or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

This temporary closure is required to enable duct installation work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place on 14 April 2025 between the hours of 9:30am and 3:30pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via A507, A5120, Steppingley Road and vice versa.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Aspley End Road, Shillington from junction with Hanscombe End Road to junction with access to Kettledean Farm; Hanscombe End Road, Shillington from Higham Road to Aspley End Road and from Lower Gravenhurst, Gravenhurst to Higham Road; Lower Gravenhurst, Gravenhurst at the junction with Hanscombe End Road, Shillington southbound only.
This temporary closure is required to enable mains laying works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place on the following dates:
i. Aspley End Road from 3rd November 2025 to 11th May 2026 for 24hrs a day
ii. Hanscombe End Road from 27th May 2025 to 3rd November 2025
iii. Hanscombe End Road from 14th April 2025 to 26th May 2025
iv. Lower Gravenhurst from 14th April 2025 to 27th May 2025
The roads will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative routes for this closure are:
i. Grove Lane, Hitchin Road and Hexton Road
ii. High Road, Upton End Road, Bury Road and Hanscombe End Road
iii. Hanscombe End Road, Hillfoot Road and High Road iv. Lower Gravenhurst
The Order will come into operation on 14 April 2025 for a period of twelve months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the full length of C107, Westoning from A5120 to Tingrith High Street, Westoning.
This temporary closure is required to enable new sewer connection work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 31 March to 2 April 2025 between the hours of 9:30am and 3:30pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Steppingley Road, ZUC105, Eversholt Road, C100, Flitwick Road, Steppingley Road, A5120 and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 31 March 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Bedford Road, Brogborough from Salford Road to Bowling Close.
This temporary closure is required to enable surfacing work alongside 278 works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 31 March to 2 April 2025 and again from 26 May to 31 May between the hours of 8pm and 6am. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Sheeptick End, Station Road, High Street, A507 and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 31 March 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

This temporary closure is required to enable gas governor replacement works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 31 March to 9 May 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Westhill, Duke Street, Woodside and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 31 March 2025 for a period of three months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Central Bedfordshire Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any person proceeding on foot along the length of public Footpath No. 12, Houghton Conquest which extends from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OS GR) TL 0460 4242 to OS GR TL 0462 4280, part of public Footpath No. A9 which extends from OS GR TL 0462 4280 to OS GR TL 0470 4291, and part of public Footpath No. A10 which extends from OS GR TL 0480 4257 to OS GR TL 0418 4320.
This temporary closure is required to ensure safety whilst site development works take place. The closure is expected to take place from 14th April 2025 for up to six months.
The alternative route for footpath users while the closure is in operation will be along the diverted path as provided by the developers.

STOPPING UP ORDER 2025 (NO. 2)
The above Order was made on 21 March 2025 under Section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. The effect of the Order will be to stop up part of Footpath No. 22, Cranfield and Bridleway No. 57, Cranfield and create an alternative bridleway. The effect of the Order will also be to revoke the CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (CRANFIELD: PART OF FOOTPATH NO. 22 AND BRIDLEWAY NO. 57) PUBLIC PATH STOPPING UP ORDER 2025 made on 31 January 2025.
The length of Footpath No. 22, Cranfield to be stopped up extends from its junction with an unaffected section of Footpath No. 22, Cranfield at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OS GR) SP 9519 4375 in a north-north-easterly direction for approximately 30 meters to terminate at its junction with Crawley Road at OS GR SP 9520 4378.
The footpath is stopped up across its full width.
The length of Bridleway No. 57, Cranfield to be stopped up extends from its junction with Merchant Lane at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OS GR) SP 9485 4287 in a generally northerly direction for approximately 401 meters to terminate at its junction with College Road at OS GR SP 9487 4326.
The bridleway is stopped up across its full width.
The length of Bridleway No. 57, Cranfield to be created extends from its junction with Merchant Lane at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OS GR) SP 9457 4285 in a north-easterly direction for approximately 195 metres along a surfaced path to its junction with Footpath No. 41, Cranfield at OS GR SP 9472 4298 then continues in a generally north-easterly direction for approximately 335 metres along a surfaced path to its junction with Footpath No. 22, Cranfield at OS GR SP 9488 4326 then continues in a generally north-easterly direction for approximately 619 metres along a surfaced path to its junction with Footpath No.22, Cranfield at OS GR SP 9519 4375 then continues in a generally east-south-easterly direction for approximately 31 metres along a surfaced path to its junction with an unaffected part of Footpath No. 22, Cranfield at OS GR SP 9522 4374 then continues in a north-north-easterly direction for approximately 22 metres to terminate at its junction with Crawley Road at OS GR SP 9523 4376.
The new route of the bridleway has a width of 6 metres and subsumes Footpath No. 20, Cranfield and part of Footpath No. 22, Cranfield within the width of the new route of the bridleway.

NO WAITING AT ANY TIME ON WOBURN ROAD AND DENTON DRIVE,
MARSTON MORETEYNE
Reason for proposal: For avoiding danger to persons or other traffic and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising and for facilitating the passage of traffic on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians). More specifically, the waiting restrictions are intended to address indiscriminate parking and to ensure that junctions are not obstructed by parked vehicles.
Effect of the Order:
To introduce No Waiting at any time on the following lengths of road in Marston Moreteyne:-
1. Denton Drive, both sides, from the junction with Woburn Road/Bedford Road and extending in a north westerly direction for approximately 10 metres.
2. Woburn Road, north side, from the junction with Denton Drive and extending in a south westerly direction for approximately 10 metres.
3. Bedford Road, north side, from the junction with Denton Drive and extending in a north easterly direction for approximately 10 metres.
4. Woburn Road, south side, from a point in line with the centre of the junction with Denton Drive and extending in a south westerly direction for approximately 12.5 metres.
5. Bedford Road, south side, from a point in line with the centre of the junction with Denton Drive and extending in a north easterly direction for approximately 12.5 metres.
