Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along:

Temporary Road Closures:

WA01/0425 - SD001041 - Roadwater Road in the Parish of Old Cleeve. Roadwater Road from the junction with Tacker Street, north-eastwards for a total distance of 360 metres.

WA02/0425 - SD001042 - Tacker Street in the parish of Withycombe. Tacker Street from the junction with Greenland Lane to the junction with Roadwater Road and Road Lane. A total distance of 1430.

WA03/0425 - SD001043 - Luxborough to Roadwater Road in the parish of Withycombe. Luxborough to Roadwater Road from the junction with Stouts Way Lane to the junction with Greenland Lane. A total distance of 3150 metres.

WA04/0425 - SD001044 - Harpers Lane in the parish of Nettlecombe. Harpers Lane from the junction with Woodavent Lane to the junction with Old Mineral Line and Tackers Street. A total distance of 810 metres.

WA05/0425 - SD001045 - Woodavent Lane in the parish of Nettlecombe. Woodavent Lane from the junction with Harpers Lane to the junction with Vemplets Cross to Huish Barton Farm. A total distance of 1560 metres.

WA06/0425 - SD001046 - Slade Lane in the parish of Nettlecombe. Slade Lane from the junction with Egypt To Vempletts Cross to the junction with Beggarn Huish To Clitsome Farm. A total distance of 975 metres.

WA07/0425 - SD001047 - Vempletts Cross to Huish Barton Farm in the parish of Nettlecombe. Vempletts Cross to Huish Barton Farm from the junction with Woodavent Lane and Little Egypt to Vempletts Cross to the junction with Rear Huish Barton Farm to Main Road. A total distance of 400 metres.

WA08/0425 - SD001048 - Batallers Lane in the parish of Old Cleeve. Batallers Lane from the junction with Roadwater to White Horse Pub to the junction with Lodge Rocks to Forches Garden. A total distance of 460 metres.

WA09/0425 - SD001049 - Comberow Lane in the parish of Old Cleeve. Comberow Lane from the junction with B3190 Raleighs Cross to Sticklepath / Fair Cross to Sticklepath, for its entirety a total distance of 2470 metres.

WA10/0425 - SD001050 - Woolston Lane in the parish Sampford Brett. Woolston Lane from the junction with A358 Taunton Road, south eastwards for 550 metres.

WA11/0425 - SD001051 - St Audries to Doniford in the parish of West Quantoxhead. St Audries to Doniford from the junction with A39 Williton to Bridgwater Road, north-eastwards for a total distance of 1920 metres.

WA12/0425 - SD001052 – Doverhay in the parish of Luccombe. Doverhay from the junction with West Luccombe Road to the junction with Crawter Hill Road. A total distance of 620 metres.

WA13/0425 - SD001053 - Knowle Lane in the parish of Dunster. Knowle Lane from the junction with A396 Dunster to Timberscombe Road to the junction with Clouds Steep. A total distance of 3290 metres.

WA14/0425 - SD001054 - Drapers Way in the parish of Timberscombe. Drapers Way from the junction with A396 Cutcombe Hill and Timberscombe to Cutcombe Hill to the junction with Steart Lane. A total distance of 1470 metres.

WA22/0425 - SD001062 - B3188 Combe Sydenham Road in the parish of Monksilver. B3188 Combe Sydenham Road from the junction with Combe Sydenham Lane, northwards for a total distance of 700 metres.

WA23/0425 - SD001063 - B3188 Combe Sydenham to Elworthy and Elworthy to Elworthy Cross in the parish of Elworthy. B3188 Combe Sydenham to Elworthy, southwards incorporating Elworthy to Elworthy Cross to the junction with Combe Sydenham Lane. A total Distance of 2460 metres.

WA24/0425 - SD001064 - B3222 Jury Hill in the parish of Dulverton - B3222 Jury Hill from 150 metres east of the junction with Bath Meadow Drive, eastwards for a total distance of 460 metres.

WA25/0425 - SD001065 - Hawkwell Lane in the parish of Brushford. Hawkwell Lane from the junction with Twelve Acre Post To Iron Post to the junction with Oldway Road. A total distance of 2030 metres.

WA26/0425 - SD001066 - Cottage Lane in the parish Dulverton. Cottage Lane from the junction with Andrews Hill to the junction with Oldberry Lane. A total distance of 545 metres.

WA27/0425 - SD001067 – Broomstreet in the parish of Oare. Broomstreet from the junction with A39 Porlock to Lynton Road to the junction with Silcombe Lane. A total distance of 955 metres.

WA28/0425 - SD001068 - Luckes Lane in the parish of West Quantoxhead. Luckes Lane from the junction with A358 Taunton Road to the junction with Weacombe Road. A total distance of 1480 metres.

SWT34-2023/0425 - SD007683 - A39 Minehead to Williton Road in the parish of Washford. A39 Minehead to Williton Road from 60 metres southeast of the junction with Huish Lane to 60 metres north-west of the junction A39 Washford Cross Roundabout. A total distance of 740 metres.

SWT35-2023/0425 - SD007684 - A39 Minehead to Williton Road in the parish of Williton. A39 Minehead to Williton Road from 5 metres east of the junction with A39 Washford Cross Roundabout to the junction with Bowhayes Cross. A total distance of 530 metres.

SWT36-2023/0425 - SD007679 - A39 Priest Street in the parish of Williton. A39 Priest Street from 50 metres west of the junction with Mamsey Lane, north-eastwards for a total distance of 265 metres.

SWT30-2024/0425 - SD007716 - Hollam Lane in the parish of Dulverton. Hollam Lane from the junction with B3222 Jury Road to the junction with Northcombe Lane. A total distance of 1150 metres.

SWT51-2024/0425 - SD007872 - Hele Manor Lane in the parish of Brushford. Hele Manor Lane from the junction with Trackfordmoor Cross to Riphay Cross, south-westwards for a total distance of 1080 metres.

This Order will enable Kiely Bros to carry out phased prep works, surface dressing, application of Kiely Lock and associated works such as stud removal/renewal and lining works on behalf of Somerset Highways.

The Order becomes effective on 28th March 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The phased works are expected to commence any time after 1st April 2025. The phased works will be for ONE DAY within the stated period and the road will be reopened when no works are taking place. The works are phased and there may be a need for additional closures at a later date. Notifications will be sent for these.

The works promoter will contact residents and businesses directly to discuss access arrangements. Advanced warning signs will be installed 10 days prior to the commencement of works for each closure.
