Oakleys Road - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate Carriageway Patching and Resurfacing
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
OAKLEYS ROAD, LONG EATON
WHEN: 14 April to 16 April 2025 (07:00 to 18:00 each day).
WHERE: Oakleys Road, Long Eaton between jct. of Acton Road, and jct. of Maxwell Street.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching and resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Oakleys Road, Collingwood Road, Nelson Street, Tamworth Road, Market Place, Nottingham Road, Trent Street, Waverley Street, Cross Street, Main Street and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
