Sutton Lane - Temporary Road Closure For Pole Testing
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE SUTTON LANE, HILTON
WHEN: 02 April 2025 (09:30 to 15:30).
WHERE: Sutton Lane, Hilton from a point approx. 778m north of its jct. with Dale End Lane, for an approx. distance of 80m west.
REASON: To facilitate pole testing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Sutton Lane, Main Street, Uttoxeter Road, Derby Road, Sutton Lane (Hatton), Limbersitch Lane, Schoolpiece Lane, Common Lane, Dish Lane and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
