B6341 NARROWGATE ALNWICK
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6341 Narrowgate Alnwick from its junction with Pottergate for a distance of 21 metres in a northerly direction in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective on the 6th April 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from 09:30 hours to 15:30 hours on the 6th April 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Narrowgate, Fenkle Street, Clayport Street, Lagny Street, Dispensary Street, Northumberland Street, Bailiffgate, Narrowgate and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Chevron TM on behalf of Northumbrian Water to check sensors in the manhole and repair if required. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
