What is happening?

(VARIOUS ROADS DONCASTER)
SPEED LIMITS (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2011
(AMENDMENT NO.) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council propose to make an Order under the provisions of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the order will be to introduce a 20 mph speed limit on the following roads:

ARGOSY CLOSE
ASH TREE AVENUE
CENTRAL DRIVE
CHESTNUT DRIVE
COCK HILL LANE
DUKES TERRACE
EAST VIEW
ELM TREE DRIVE
GRANGE AVENUE

MEADOW
IDLE COURT
INGHAM ROAD
IVATT CLOSE

LIME TREE CRESCENT
MALHAM CLOSE

OAK TREE ROAD
ORCHARD CROFT

CHURCH STREET from its junction with Gainsborough Road to the point that it becomes Wharf Street to in a
generally northerly direction
CHURCH STREET from its junction with Gainsborough Road to its junction with Cock Hill Lane in a generally
southerly direction
MARTIN LANE from its junction with Doncaster Road to a point 100m west of its junction with Argosy Close in
generally westerly direction
A copy of the proposed Order together with a map showing the restricted roads and a statement of the Councils
reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined at the Council Office, Civic Office, Waterdale
Doncaster between the hours of 9 am and 4.30 pm or on the City of Doncaster Council Website via the following

If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing to City of
Doncaster Council, Safer Roads, Civic Office, Waterdale, Doncaster DN1 3BU or by email to
