THE BOROUGH OF WELWYN HATFIELD (VARIOUS ROADS, HATFIELD SOUTH AND EAST, HATFIELD (RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PERMIT PARKING ZONES) ORDER 2025

THE BOROUGH OF WELWYN HATFIELD (VARIOUS ROADS, HATFIELD SOUTH AND EAST, HATFIELD (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING AND WAITING ON VERGE OR FOOTWAY) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council (pursuant to arrangement made with Hertfordshire County Council) has made the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to introduce restrictions in Various Roads, Hatfield as specified in the Schedules to this Notice. This Order will come into effect on Monday 12 May 2025

A copy of the Orders and associated documents may be viewed at https://www.welhat.gov.uk/parking-consultations, or upon appointment during reception opening hours at Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council, The Campus, Welwyn Garden City 26 March 2025 until 8 May 2025

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice, apply to the High Court for this purpose.

NOTICE OF VARIATION OF CHARGES FOR ON STREET PARKING

NOTICE is hereby given that Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council will on 1 April 2025 under Section 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), vary the charges in the following On Street parking:

Healthcarers Permit Free per annum
Refund/Cancellation fee £11.50 per permit
Change of registration fee £11.50 per change
