EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL

(C62, Auchinleck) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025

On 25 March 2025 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow widening of carriageway with associated verge and surfacing works

Temporary Road Closure – C62, Auchinleck, Between Barony Road and junction Darnlaw View.

The Order commences on 07 April 2025 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 07 April 2025 at 08:00 with the closure remaining in place until 22 April 2025 at 17:00.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Access for Emergency Services, residents and deliveries out-with the working zone will be maintained via diversion route.

An alternative route will be signed via B7036 Barony Road - B7036 Mill Street - A70 - A76 - Mauchline Road and vice versa
