MUMBLES ROAD, OUTSIDE NUMBERS 141 TO 151 TEMPORARY LOADING BAY NOTICE OF MAKING 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City and County of Swansea did on 24th March 2025 make an Experimental Order in pursuance of its powers as contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) under Sections 9 and 10 the effect of such Order is as set out in the Schedules below. The Order will come into effect on 2nd April 2025 for a period of 18 months.

A copy of the Order, Statement of Reasons and an appropriate plan may be inspected during normal office hours in the Civic Centre Oystermouth Road Swansea SA1 3SN or alternatively, it can be accessed via https://www. swansea.gov.uk/experimentaltrafficorders.

This Order may be made permanent subject to consideration by the Council of any objections. Any objections to the Order should be submitted in writing, setting out the reasons for such objections, to reach the Head of Legal, Democratic Services and Business Intelligence, Civic Centre, Oystermouth, Road, Swansea, SA1 3SN or via email at Legal.TrafficNotices@swansea.gov.uk within six months of the date the order comes into force quoting reference DVT/AVR 00280038

SCHEDULE 1
REVOCATIONS
The existing Orders are revoked insofar as they are inconsistent with the proposals hereinafter contained which relate to the length or lengths of the road or roads referred to in the schedules hereto.

SCHEDULE 2
LOADING/ UNLOADING ONLY 6:00AM TO 10:00AM, PROHIBITION OF WAITING, NO LOADING/ UNLOADING 10:00AM TO MIDNIGHT AND MIDNIGHT TO 6:00AM MUMBLES ROAD
On its eastern side from a point 50 metres south east of the projected southern kerbline of Dunns Lane south eastwards for a distance of 15 metres.
The maximum duration of the order is 18 months.
