 (BUGBROOKE ROAD, NETHER HEYFORD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Bugbrooke Road, Nether Heyford as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Bugbrooke Road, Nether Heyford from the junction of The Green to Hillside Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during replacement of lead pipes.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th April 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for three days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Weedon Road, A5, Litchborough Road, The Wharf, Church Lane and Bugbrooke Road.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Mill Lane, Kislingbury as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Mill Lane, Kislingbury from the junction of Dukes Green Road to Willow View.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during sewer repairs.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th April 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for four days.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Berrywood Road, Duston as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Berrywood Road, Duston from the junction of Berrywood Drive to Griffith Close.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during repairs to sluice valve.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th April 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of Holcot Road, Walgrave and Walgrave Road, Holcot as set out below.

LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of Holcot Road, Walgrave and Walgrave Road, Holcot from the junction of Hannington Road to Old Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th April 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Thirlmere Avenue, Northampton from the junction of Grange Road to Fullingdale Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 31st March 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Moorend Road, Yardley Gobion from Castle Barn to Margalan Cottage.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during overhead works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 31st March 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Eastcote Road, Tiffield from the junction of High Street North to Gayton Road Eastcote.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 31st March 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 31st March 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 1st April 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to five days.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of Fetter Street and Angel Street, Northampton as set out below.

LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Fetter Street – from St Johns Street and Angel Street – from Guildhall Road to Bridge Street.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway reconstruction works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 31st March 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that Fetter Street will be restricted until 6th June and Angel Street from 2nd to 8th June and then on 15th and 22nd June 2025.

LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of Church Street and Yelvertoft Road, Crick from Main Road to Crick Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repairs, micro-asphalt, iron works and associated works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 28th March 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for two days and again from 26th May 2025 for up to three days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Crick Road, High Street, Yelvertoft Road, West Haddon Bypass, Crick Road, West Haddon Road and Main Road.

LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of Festival Road, Leys Road, Simons Walk and Pool Close, Pattishall – full length of each road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repairs, micro-asphalt, iron works and associated works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 28th March 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for three days and again from 30th May 2025 for up to two weeks. Only one road to be closed at any one time.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Butchers Lane, Church Street and Fosters Booth Road.
