Uxbridge Road - Introduce Additional Lengths Of Bus Lanes

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF EALING

Proposed Bus Lanes - Uxbridge Road, Southall. 
The Ealing (Bus Priority) (Bus Lanes) (No. 1, 202*) (Uxbridge Road) Order 202*.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing, proposes to make the above-mentioned Order, under sections 6 and 124 of and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general effect of the proposed bus lane Order would be to:-

(a) introduce additional lengths of bus lanes on the: -
 (i) eastbound lane on the north side of Uxbridge Road, Southall between Windmill Lane and Warncliffe Drive;
 (ii) westbound lane on the south side of Uxbridge Road, Southall (between Warncliffe Drive and Windmill Lane), [the proposed bus lanes would operate at any time and with cyclists exempted]
(b) consolidate all the existing bus lane Orders for Uxbridge Road into a single Order.

3. The proposed Order, other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order including plans, are available by e-mail from ‘trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk’ or by inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Order is made, or the Council decides not to make the Order.

4. Any objections or other representations about either of the proposed Order should be sent in writing by e-mail to ‘trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk’ or by post to Highways Service, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL, quoting reference P035-25 until the 16 April 2025. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made and should include the address of the author.
