Lightwater By-Pass (A322) Lightwater Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 21 March 2025, Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to:
1. prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of length of Lightwater By-Pass (A322) Lightwater (a) northbound between its junction with Guildford Road (C5) and the roundabout at M3 Junction 3 and (b) the slip road leading to this length of carriageway from Guildford Road; 2. impose a 40mph speed limit on that length of Lightwater By-Pass (A322) Lightwater as it extends (a) southbound between the diverge with the slip road leading to the eastbound carriageway of the M3 at Junction 3 and a point 43 metres east of the centreline of the junction with South Farm Lane (D3585) and (b) northbound between a point 115 metres east of the centreline of Broadway Road (C4) overbridge and a point 34 metres north of the slip road leading to the westbound carriageway of the M3 at Junction 3; and 3. suspend “The Surrey County Council Bagshot By-Pass (A322) Bagshot Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025” insofar as it relates to the length of carriageway in 1.
Alternative Route – A322 (Lightwater By-Pass), B311 (Red Road), B3015 (The Maultway), A30 (London Road) and A322 (Bagshot By-Pass), or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Knights Brown to facilitate road widening and all associated works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 6 months, during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 31 March 2025.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure and speed limit, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
The speed limit and closures are anticipated to be in force 24 hours a day. Access to premises within the affected lengths of road will be maintained at all times, although there may be the need to park in designated parking and to be escorted during the resurfacing phase.
D3444 Gresham Way, Frimley Green Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order 2025
On 25 March 2025 Surrey County Council made the above wRoad Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D3444 Gresham Way, Frimley Green.
This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate carriageway surfacing and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 3 April 2025.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period.
Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.
Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route.
Alternative Route – D3445 Cross Lane, D3444 Kingsmead and D3444 Garrick Way.
Deepcut Bridge Road (B3015) Camberley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Deepcut Bridge Road (B3015) Camberley as extends from its junction with (S3015) Brunswick Road to its junction with (D3474) Lake Road.
Alternative Route: (B3015) Deepcut Bridge Road, (B3015) The Maultway, (B311) Upper Chobham Road, (B311) Chobham Road, (A325) Portsmouth Road, (B3411) Grove Cross Road, (B3411) Frimley Green Road, (B3012) Guildford Road, and (B3015) Deepcut Bridge Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works for, or on behalf of Chevron TM.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 nights, between the hours of 7pm and 6am, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 28 April 2025.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.
