What is happening?
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL
THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE
(Gold Hill West, Chalfont St Peter) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Gold Hill West for approx. 120M. Alternative route: Austenwood Ln, Deanway, A413 Narcot Rd, Grove Ln, Gold Hill. North, Gold Hill West and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a gas mains replacement commence on 14 April 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 14 April 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Bigmore Ln, Stokenchurch) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Bigmore Ln for approx. 634M. Alternative route: Marlow Rd, Wycombe Rd, Horsleys Green Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a bridge expansion joint replacement commence on 21 April 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 21 April 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Various Rds, Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in the rds below. Fieldhouse Ln, Marlow: Hooks Ln, Marlow Common: Straight Bit, Flackwell Heath: White Cl, High Wycombe: Holtspur Ln, Windsor Hill, Wooburn Green. The closure is required whilst plane & patch works commence on 21st April 2025,

The actual times that each road will be closed for will be much less than this and could be either day or night works only. The full details will be publicised on https://one.network/ when confirmed, with signs on the affected road erected two weeks before the closure. The proposed Order will come into operation on 21st April 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Vale, Hayridge: Plantation Rd, Amersham: Joiners Ln, Chalfont St Peter: Bell Ln, Little Chalfont: Wilton Ln, Jordans: Blutcher St, Chesham. The closure is required whilst plane & patch works commence on 21st April 2025.

The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 44, Great Missenden) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022 made on 23 September 2022, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport been continued in force and will so continue until 1 April, 2026.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No 44, Great Missenden, from a point 280 metres north-east of its junction with Public Footpath No. 46, Great Missenden to a point 41 metres south of its junction with Public Footpath No. 45 Great Missenden, whilst works take place to fix the surface of the Bridleway.
The alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be via the existing Highway.
