(U61413 Castle Morton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U61413 Castlemorton from its junction with U61415 Morton Green to its junction with U61414 Sansome Ln.

Reason: New water connection in verge by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: U61413 Castlemorton (part), C2098 Malvern, C2098 Longdon Heath, B4211 Gloucester Rd, A4104 Welland Rd, A4104 Drake St, B4208 Gloucester Rd, U61413 Castlemorton (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days.

Commencing: 15 April 2025.

(U95207 Broadheath) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U95207 Broadheath from its junction with B4204 Broadheath to its junction with U95404 Bell Ln.

Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: U95207 Broadheath (part), B4204 Broadheath, U95404 Bell Ln, U95207 Broadheath (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days.

Commencing: 24 March 2025.

(B4232 North Malvern Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4232 North Malvern Road from its junction with U65331 Belvoir Bank to its junction with B4219 Cowleigh Road.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: B4232 West Malvern Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days.

Commencing: 14 April 2025.

(U63110 St Andrews Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U63110 St Andrews Road from its junction with U63147 Fraser Close to its junction with U63143 Geneva Avenue.

Reason: Development works by Erris Builders Ltd.

No access for Emergency Services diversion route must be used.

Alternative route: U63110 St Andrews Road (part), U63000 Peachfield Road, B4208 Poolbrook Road, B4211 Barnards Green Road, U63101 Court Road, U63110 St Andrews Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days (24hrs).

Commencing: 14 April 2025.

(U63313 Wykewane, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U63313 Wykewane from its junction with U63317 Hastings Road for a distance of 65 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: U63317 Hastings Road, U63310 Eston Avenue, U63313 Wykewane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days.

Commencing: 24 March 2025.

(C2260 Madresfield Road/U63334 Sherrards Green Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of Closure 1 – C2260 Madresfield Road from its junction with B4208 Pickersleigh Road to its junction with U63304 Pound Bank Road.

Closure 2 – U63334 Sherrards Green Road from its junction with C2260 Madresfield Road to its junction with B4208 Pickersleigh Road.

Reason: Pre surface dressing patching by WCC.

Alternative route: Diversion (General Traffic) – C2260 Madresfield Road (part), C2102 Madresfield, C2102 Chance Lane, B4211 Guarlford Road, B4211 Barnards Green, B4208 Pickersleigh Road and vice versa.

Diversion (Local Traffic) – U63304 Pound Bank Road, U63304 Upper Chase Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 15 days.

Commencing: 25 March 2025.

(C2237 Lower Howsell Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of C2237 Lower Howsell Road from its junction with B4503 Lower Interfields to its junction with U63469 Howsell Road.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Alternative route:

Diversion Westbound – B4503 Lower Interfields, B4503 Upper Interfields, B4503 Newtown Road, A449 Worcester Road, C2237 Lower Howsell Road and vice versa.

Diversion Eastbound – C2237 Lower Howsell Road (part), A449 Worcester Road, C2206 Stocks Lane, A4103 Leigh Sinton, B4503 Malvern Road.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days between 24 March 2025 and 18 April 2025.

(C2221 Upper Welland Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2221 Upper Welland Road from its junction with A449 Wells Road to its junction with U63030 Kings Road.

Reason: Water utility work by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: A449 Wells Road, A4104 Little Malvern, A4104 Marlbank Road, C2221 Upper Welland Road (part), and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days.

Commencing: 14 April 2025.

(B4503 Leigh Sinton Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4503 Leigh Sinton Road from its junction with U63502 Yates Hay Road to its junction with U63453 Westward Road.

Reason: Surface dressing by WCC.

Alternative route:

• Light Vehicle Diversion: B4503 Leigh Sinton Road (part), B4503 Newtown Road, A449 Worcester Road, C2206 Stocks Lane, A4103 Leigh Sinton, B4503 Malvern Road, B4503 Leigh Sinton Road (part) and vice versa.
• HGV Diversion: B4503 Leigh Sinton Road (part), B4503 Newtown Road, A449 Worcester Road, A449 Malvern Road, A449 The Village, A4440 Hams Way, A4440 Grove Way, A4103 Bransford, A4103 Leigh Sinton, B4503 Malvern Road, B4503 Leigh Sinton Road (part) and vice versa.

  Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 14 April 2025 and 25 April 2025.

EXEMPTIONS:

TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Bridleway MV-769 and Footpath MV-717, Malvern) (Temporary Closure Order) 2025

Order made: To close Bridleway MV-769 and Footpath MV-717, Malvern for their entire length.

The Order has been made to facilitate works on the carriageway and associated furniture.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: (Clockwise) B4208 Poolbrook Rd, U63000 Peachfield Rd, U63110 St Andrews Rd and vice versa.

The Temporary Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 24 March 2025.

Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2025

[Prohibition of Waiting on Lansdowne Road/Highfield Road, Malvern]

On 6 March 2025, Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length of road in Malvern:

• Lansdowne Road (west side) – from its junction with Highfield Road for a distance of 5m in a northerly direction and 9m in a southerly direction.
• Highfield Road (north side) – from its junction with Lansdowne Road for a distance of 10m in a westerly direction.
• Highfield Road (south side) – from its junction with Lansdowne Road for a distance of 10m in a westerly direction.
• Lansdowne Road (east side) – from its junction with Highfield Road (private road section) for a distance of 5m in a northerly direction and 5m in a southerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 27 March 2025.
