Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Public Footpath 20.40/33/1, Leyburn, Order 2025 No 74
We have made this Order to prohibit any pedestrian from using the Public Footpath, 20.40/33/1 in the Parish of Leyburn, between grid reference SE11439044 & SE11419033 for a temporary period of 6 months (subject to access to premises) between 24/03/25 & 23/09/25, to complete major gas mains replacement works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Amendment No 36, Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that on 14/03/25 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to amend "North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Richmondshire) Consolidation Order 2013" by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:-
Schedule - Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking
Reeth, Junction of Silver Street & Arkengarthdale Road, Silver Street - North side & Arkengarthdale Road -West side, Extending 14m to the East on Silver Street to 23m to the North on Arkerngarthdale Road - a 'No Waiting At Any Time' double yellow line waiting restriction. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 01 /04/25 together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at Leyburn Community Library, Thornborough Hall, Leyburn DL8 5AB during normal office hours from 21/03/25 to 25/04/25 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 14/03/25 make application to the High Court for the purpose.
