What is happening?

PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL

THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (MILDMAY STREET, ARMADA STREET, PROSPECT STREET, CAMDEN STREET, MOUNT STREET, NORTH STREET, GUILDFORD STREET) 
TEMPORARY OF DRIVING, PARKING, WAITING, LOADING & UNLOADING ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council acting under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), have made an Order the effect of which is:

1. To prohibit the driving of vehicles in: 
- Mildmay Street - from Hospital Road to Armada Street
- Armada Street - from Mildmay Street to Mount Street Lane East
- Prospect Street - from junction Armada Street to Camden Street
- Camden Street - from Mount Street to Devonshire Street
- Mount Street - from Camden Street to number 24
- North Street - from Camden Street to Regent Street
- Guildford Street - from North Street to number 7

2. To prohibit the parking, waiting, loading & unloading of vehicles in:
- Mildmay Street - from Hospital Road to Armada Street
- Prospect Street - from junction Armada Street to Camden Street
- Camden Street - from number 22 to Devonshire Street

3. To suspend the one-way system on:
- Chedworth Street - for its entirety
- Camden Street - for its entirety
- Mount Street - for its entirety
- Prospect Street - for its entirety

The prohibition of driving, parking, waiting, loading & unloading will be in operation on the days and during the hours that the appropriate traffic signs are displayed. The Order shall come into force on 7th April 2025 and shall remain in force for a maximum of 18 months

It is anticipated that the phased gas mains works will commence on the 7th April 2025 until 11th July 2025 24hrs
