What is happening?

NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(SCHOOL LANE, EUXTON, CHORLEY BOROUGH) (SPEED HUMPS (2))

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980, Lancashire County Council propose to introduce road humps in the following locations:
a) School Lane, Euxton - from a point 12 metres north east of its junction with the centreline of The Cherries for a distance of 3 metres in a north easterly direction;
b) School Lane, Euxton - from a point 66 metres south west of its junction with the centreline of The Cherries for a distance of 3 metres in a south westerly direction;
c) School Lane, Euxton - from a point 13 metres east of its junction with the centreline of Vicarage Close for a distance of 3 metres in an easterly direction;
d) School Lane, Euxton - from a point 33 metres west of its junction with the centreline of Vicarage Close for a distance of 3 metres in a westerly direction.
The road humps will have a maximum height not exceeding 75 mm.

A copy of the relevant notice and plan, indicating the proposal may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of the Chorley Borough Council, Town Hall, Market Street, Chorley, PR7 1DP, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
