What is happening?
Borough Of Rochdale
(Smithy Bridge Road, Littleborough (2))
(Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Smithy Bridge Road from a point 15 metres north west of the level crossing for a distance of 40 metres in a south easterly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe testing of the Railway Level Crossing.
The Order will be operative from 00:20 on the 30th March 2025 until 08:00 on the 30th March 2025.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Smithy Bridge Road, Milnrow Road (Littleborough), Wildhouse Lane, Kiln Lane, Bridge Street, Rochdale Road, Milnrow Road (Rochdale), Albert Royds Street, Halifax Road (A58), Smithy Bridge Road & vice versa.

(Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles Order)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting At Any Time Order) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Norden Road from its junction with Bury and Rochdale Old Road to a point 295 metres in a northerly direction.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Norden Road from its junction with Bury and Rochdale Old Road to a point 295 metres in a northerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate tree pruning within the Highways.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 31st March 2025 until 16:00 on the 4th April 2025.
(Holland Street, Wardle)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Holland Street from its junction with Halifax Road, Wardle for a distance of 12 metres in a south easterly direction.
The Order is required to minimise traffic disruption in conjunction with work on Halifax Road to rectify defective reinstatement on behalf of United Utilities within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 28th March 2025 until 23:59 on the 30th March 2025.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Holland Street, Stott Street, William Street, Halifax Road & vice versa.

(Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting At Any Time Order) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along both sides of Bolton Road from its junction with Marland Fold for a distance of 150 metres in a south westerly direction.
The Order is required to maintain the free flow of traffic along Bolton Road during the times that the event is being held.
The Order will be operative from 07:00 on the 30th March 2025 until 11:00 on the 30th March 2025.
