What is happening?
Temporary Road Closure – Marrowbrook Lane, Rushmoor
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: That part of Marrowbrook Lane between its junction with Hinstock Lane and its junction with Weir Avenue.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Marrowbrook Lane, Arrow Road, Elles Road, Meudon Avenue, Farnborough Road, Victoria Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: From Monday 7th April 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Friday 18th April 2025 and this order will be in operation for 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for South East Water to install cross connection between mains and install bypass meter. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: highways@southeastwater.co.uk
