What is happening?
Temporary Road Closure – Kingsfernsden Lane, Petersfield, East Hampshire
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: That part of Kingsfernsden Lane between its junction with Long Road and its junction with Rams Hill.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Reservoir Road, Long Road, School Lane, Farnham Road, Inmans Lane, A272, B2070
DURATION OF ORDER: From 28th March 2025
for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 18 days and in operation for 24 hours a day. It is expected that the closure will be required from 3rd October 2025 for 3 weeks).
The Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Alstom Transport UK Ltd to carry out Crossing upgrades. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: matt.panks@alstomgroup.com
Alstom Transport UK Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
